Our optical engineers are experts in the application of optical design tools (Zemax, CODE V, TracePro, etc.) We have extensive experience in space optics, lidar and altimeter systems, and attitude determination systems. We can provide tradeoff analysis and work with you in designing an optical system to your specifications. In addition to design, we provide fabrication, testing, and alignment of complete opto-mechanical assemblies.
Sigma's optical laboratory is equipped with a hydraulically mounted optical bench, collimator, optical test equipment and various types of optical hardware. Our engineers are skilled at aligning optical instrumentation such as lidars, altimeters, and telescopes.
